90% of our goods are imported directly from the manufacturers in Europe,
England, Far East, America, and India. Most of our products that we offer will
suit your requirements in all Scientific Markets. We carry on average over two
thousand products. Our large Stock holding aids in a speedy delivery
process.

Our products are also sold by approximately 80 independent companies who
distribute our goods country-wide, including: Namibia ,Botswana, Zimbabwe
Swaziland, Zaire, Mozambique, Malawi and other African countries. The effect of
our structure is that CC Imelmann is big enough to provide clients with
applications based on an adequate breadth of knowledge and experience,and small
enough for service and support to be personal.

BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

CC Imelmann (Pty) Ltd subscribes to the objectives of the Broad Based Black
Economic Empowerment objectives established by the DTI and formalised in their
Codes of Good Practice.

We try to act, as far as possible, in line with the spirit of those codes
rather than just the “letter of the law”. Consequently, our intenal policies and
procedures have been amended to take account of those codes in such a way that
they become entrenched in our daily operations. Recruitment & Development
CCI actively seeks to recruit and train people from previously disadvantaged
sectors for infusion in every department within the organisation where training
is necessary it includes both formal courses and in house skills transfer.

Preferential Procurement CC Imelmann (Pty) Ltd seeks, wherever possible, to
purchase from appropriately rated BEE enterprises. Our procurement processes
have been upgraded to ensure that each supplier or potential supplier is
evaluated in terms of the BEE guidelines established by the DTI. Enterprise
Development CC Imelmann (Pty) Ltd has established a black empowered company that
acts as a supplier to CC Imelmann (Pty) Ltd. We have provided all the funding
for the establishment of this business and assist where necessary with
accounting and administration functions.

In its first year of operations it managed to trade profitably and the
business is now well set to expand into additional markets in its defined area
of operations. The managing member of this business is a black female and she is
actively involved in managing the day to day operations of the business. Social
Economic Development CC Imelmann (Pty) Ltd supports a number of SED initiatives
all aimed at assisting the recipients to enter the main stream of the
economy.
